A New Beginning for Stockport & District Mind
We are excited to announce that we have moved to a brand new home within the Cornerstone Building, 2 Edward Street, Stockport, SK1 3NQ.
This is a decision that we have made following a period of reflection on the services we provide, the community we support, and the people who make our vital work happen. Our new home at Cornerstone will further strengthen our Stockport roots by making us more visible and accessible. We will also have more opportunities to create conversations and work collaboratively with local individuals and organisations with the same vision and values as ourselves.
To coincide with our move we have also launched a brand new website to make it even easier for people to access information about our services. In addition to making it easier to access services, the new website offers much improved ways to get involved with us, whether it be by volunteering, donations or fundraising.
Other areas of our offering have also been under focus and subsequently energised with rejuvenated positivity. We look forward to continuing our close working relationship with our lovely colleagues Signpost for Carers. We also recently worked with our colleagues at Boost to provide a number of health and wellbeing sessions through the Stockport and District Mind Carers Service and we are hoping to replicate this again in 2023.
It’s an exciting and positive time for the us and the developments will ensure that we continue to be an integral part of the community for many more years to come.
