This week is Volunteers’ Week, an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering.
Our charity couldn’t function without our Volunteers. They help support our mental health services and activities in various different roles, including on the phones, at groups, the hospital wards, and other bespoke roles. Some have been part of our team for over 15 years. Our Board of Trustees give up their time as Volunteers too.
We would like to say a huge thanks to all our Volunteers present and past, for helping us to help others and being a vital part of Stockport Mind. We are going to throw a party for you all when circumstances allow!
Through the week we are hoping to collect some quotes/testimonies from our team, about what’s it is like volunteering with us. They will be displayed here when we have them.
