Christmas can be a challenging time of year for many of us, through loneliness, the loss of loved ones, mental health problems, money worries and debt.
At Stockport Mind we always try our best to make people aware of what support is available over the Christmas period, to ensure people know of places they can phone, group sessions, or options for free Christmas meals – there is support out there and places you can contact.
We will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and at weekends as normal. On the other working weekdays of the Christmas period, we will be open but with reduced hours.
Our Rendezvous drop-in will run on Thursday 27th December, 12pm-3pm, but at a different location to normal – Stockport Baptist Church, SK3 9DR. Anyone aged 16+ is welcome to come along for a chat.
Members of our Thursday at One art group have been informed of arrangements – if you go to that group and are unsure, please contact us for clarity. The PPS drop-in will run as normal on Friday 28th December for people who attend that.
If you can’t get through to us on the phone during the Christmas period, please leave a message and we will get back to you when we can.
Normal Stockport Mind services will resume from Wednesday 2nd January 2019.
