Enhance your mental wellbeing with physical activity – #17MinutesForMe

National Mind have teamed up with Team Personal Best and England Athletics to create an exciting national online challenge – #17MinutesForMe.

The challenge encourages people to do 17 minutes of physical activity 3 times a week during the period of the athletics championships to enhance their mental wellbeing. This is a challenge everyone can take part in at your own pace.

#17MinutesForMe has been developed using learning from Mind’s Get Set to Go programme – with local Minds supporting in the development and design of the challenge.

Participants sign up via email on the website. From 3 July, they will receive 3 emails per week from an influencer including Mind ambassadors Matt Johnson and Anna Williamson and local Mind volunteers, with activity challenges.

Activities are simple and inclusive and include progressions for those who want them.

Registrations can be taken throughout the challenge, giving people the option to join when they want throughout the summer. Further information will be available from the challenge website or alternatively you can contact sport@mind.org.uk
