Comment: Referral: Referral by any statutory or voluntary agency (eg police, housing and social services). The referrer has to confirm that the young person is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of referral. Support young people in their first tenancy for example by helping them find furniture, manage their finances and learn cooking skills.

Comment: Referral: By any statutory or voluntary agency (eg police, housing and social services). The referrer has to confirm that the young person is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of referral Nightstop arranges emergency overnight accommodation in the homes of approved volunteers for young homeless people aged between 16 and 25. All guests will enter the scheme through a referral agency and the hosts make a basic commitment to provide a room, bath or shower, evening meal, bed and breakfast . Each guest is referred to Nightstop day by day. People with serious assault charges (sexual or physical) are not appropriate for the scheme.
