Comment: Confidential counseling service available to all people experiencing relationship problems.Young People’s service offers counseling to young people between 11-18 who are suffering as a result of the breakdown of their parents’ relationship. Comment: School issues: it is possible to contact the Service directly to make informal inquiries, although formal requests for our involvement are made by the school’s special needs coordinator. CYP Psychologists work in a variety of settings with children and young people, from birth to 19. We offer work on policy development, as well as giving training, consultation and advice and doing assessment and direct work with individuals and their families. Approaches we can offer include: solution oriented working, cognitive behaviour therapy, social skills training, anger / stress management, hypnosis / PMR, and counselling.

Comment: The Child and Family Services works with children aged between 5 to 16 years and their families where there are emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health problems or both. There is a weekly outpatients service and additional services for in-depth assessment and treatment. Referral is through your family doctor, health visitor, paediatrician, social worker or an educational psychologist
