What We Do
Stockport Mind offers a variety of services to help promote well-being in the community.
We offer drop-in groups where people can attend a social setting and speak to others and relax in a comfortable environment.
We offer social groups which include days out to a variety of places. This can be anything from a walk in the park, a meal in a restaurant, a trip to the cinema, a day at the beach, or any other place of interest such as stately homes, museums, art galleries, festivals and events.
We offer support for people who have been in secondary care services and feel they need some extra support to manage their wellbeing.
If you are caring for someone due to their mental health, we can support you as a carer.
We also offer training on mental health and have delivered to schools, companies, other groups, etc. We have standard packages that we can offer, or work with you to deliver something bespoke to your organisation.
We host events and attend other events in the area to help raise awareness around mental health.
We also offer an advice and information service for anyone who would like information on mental health, or feel they need some support and are not sure where to turn.
