World Mental Health Day is a day for global mental health awareness, education and reducing stigma.
We always ensure we’re out and about in Stockport to mark this event, having conversations about mental health with people, giving out booklets on wellbeing and sharing information about services.
We will be at Stockport Train Station between 7am and 10am, and then again from 4pm-7pm, so if you’re in the area please feel free to pop by and say hello.
We will also be at The Big Celebration, an NHS Pennine Care event taking place at Edgeley Park, we’re holding a private information stand for pupils at Cheadle Hulme High School, and we will be at Parfetts Wholesalers later in the week for an event they’re planning as well.
Please feel free to let us know what you’re doing to celebrate this World Mental Health Day on Facebook or Twitter, and we will be sure to post another update of how things went for us later in the week.
