We held conversations with fans of both teams about mental health, and an excellent £325.79 was raised to help us to better support people in Stockport.
Our bucket collections were before the match and during half time, meaning we were able to watch an exciting 3-3 draw unfold from the stands either side of our awareness raising.
Only three points separate County and Darlington in the higher reaches of the Vanarama National League North, so over 3600 people were in attendance at Edgeley Park for the game.
We would like to say a huge thanks to Dave and all the other staff at County for making us feel so welcome on the day, and to all the fans who talked to us about mental health and donated to us.
It was particularly heartwarming to see such kind donations made by travelling Darlington fans, supporting an independent, local mental health charity from outside of their area.
Thanks to all, and all the best to both teams for the rest of the season.
